I am 23 years old and live on Long Island, NY. I am currently getting my combined BS/MS in Nutrition and I have my undergrad in Exercise Science. I am a marathoner and a exercise enthusiast. I have had some struggles that I feel have brought me to this field and I am very passionate about helping other people with exercise and nutrition!

    Hi there!
You don’t know me, but I couldn’t help but notice your username when I was posting a comment on Melissa’s blog. Being a sports nutrition “freak” myself I clicked on your name and was shocked to see all the other similarities! I’m also a 23 year old marathoner, an exercise science grad, with the American College of Sports Medicine and on my way to a M.S. in Nutrition! Needless to say, I’d put a double ditto on the passion with helping other people in exercise and nutrition. ;-)

Anyhow, I just thought I’d say hello and see if you wanted a new friend–cuz like it or not I think you may have a twin over here!

That’s how I felt reading yours! It was kind of scary to go from the exercise science, to the ACSM, to the Masters in Nutrition [still in school for] plus the marathoning! And now the Christian thing too, plus all your entries sound just like the stuff I’m always getting into–reading, researching, and concocting!

I REALLY like your blog… and I am looking forward to learning a lot from you!

(I ran the Boston marathon in 2002 but haven’t been in great shape since… I think I am getting there finally and I’d really love to run one again someday!)

Hi! I am going backwards from you and am getting my MS in exercise physiology with an emphasis in sports nutrition and my undergrad is in Nutrition (dietetics). I am also a registered dietitian and started my own foodie blog recently. It is definitely a work in progress, but I am enjoying it very much! Can’t wait to look over your blog more, thanks :)
